Edith May Heinrich, age 91, passed away on September 5, 2015. She is survived by her brother Richard Morris, her 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.
Born in 1924, she persevered through many hardships, and learned as a young mother to provide well for her family with few resources. Above all, she provided love, and was well loved in return.
When her children were grown, she became a nurse, and gave care to the elderly. She learned to paint and spent many years painting landscapes of local landmarks. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Richard Heinrich, to whom she was married for sixty-eight years until his death in 2010. She missed him, and planned to be with him again.
Edith’s family will host a celebration of life gathering on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home - Au Gres followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. Jerry Swartz will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Sims-Whitney Cemetery next to her beloved husband, Richard. Online condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com
