Some ancestry.com data records have Rebecca born 1624 in Hartford. That is too early. The earliest record of her father, Robert Wade, in the new world was 1639. The first settlement at Hartford was 1635. I suspect she was born in the 'old world'.
Robert Wade: he is claimed as father of Rebecca in Ralph Dornfield Owen's Descendants of John Owen of Windsor, Connecticut (1622-1690) (Philadelphia 1941), p. 19, but without documentation. Since John Owen and wife apparently did not share in the settlement of Robert Wade's estate, as Mr. Jacobus points out, it would be well to be cautious. The probate file mentions 3 daughters, none named Rebecca. | Wade, Rebecca (I3708)

Some notes copied from www.coryfamsoc.com:
Just where John I came from, in the old world, as of the publication date of the Second Edition of "Corys Of America", has not been proven satisfactorily or strong enough to say at this time. He may have arrived in America on the Ship Planter. Some of the first researchers of the Cory Genealogy tried to prove that he came from Bramerton Hall near Norwich, England. It is also believed that he came to America about 1637. He may have lived in Salem, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The latest theory is that he was the John Cory that was in Rhode Island and left under strange circumstances. We believe that John was one of the men who assisted John Youngs on October 21 1640 in the organization of the First (Presbyterian) Church at Southold, LI., New York. John Cory is mentioned as being from Southold and as the Whale Commissioner 7 March 1644.
There is also record of a Thomas Cory, born Devonshire, England. We know his father as Thomas Cory born on the 3rd of July 1600 or 1610 in England, (the year 1610 is most likely a closer year of his birth.) It is known that he was married circa 1630 in Devonshire, England to an unknown wife where they had three sons; William Cory, born circa 1632, Devonshire, England, died 8th of Feb. 1681/82 Portsmouth, RI. Thomas Cor(e)y, born circa 1634, Devonshire, England, died 6th of May 1706 Watertown, MA. John Cory, circa. 1636, Devonshire, England, died in America.
We know that Thomas Cory, born 3rd of July 1610, England is the same one that is shown born in Devonshire, England and the same one of same birth date and year as being born in Norwich, Norfolk, England. We know that he had a brother William Cory, born circa 1612, Devonshire, England or possibly Norwich, Norfolk, England. We also know their father's name was John Cory, born circa 1585, Norwich, Norfolk, England and his wife was Elizabeth __. We know that his father was Robert (Roger) Cory, born circa 1554, Norwich, Norfolk, England and his wife is unknown. He is most likely of the Bramerton Hall Corys which are most likely related to the Harpole/Northampton Corys.
In many cases, the descendants of John1 have elected to add an "e" to their name. This has been added at various times. In the UK, the name is most often spelled Cory. | Cory, John (I5043)

Some older sources claim that Sarah was the d/o Roger Osborne of Halstead, Kent, but there is no support for this identification!!! Although baptism record of her son Richard lists mother as Sarah Osborn. But we cannot show a connection to Roger Osborn.
Marriage to Richard Lyman: (2a)
Death: (1a) Husband's will names his wife, 22 Apr 1640. (1b,2b) Probate of husband's estate, 27 Jan 1642/3, calls her "Widdow Lyman, Decd," having left a note dated 24 Jul (no year). T. Manning, Jr. on World Connect record says Sarah died Jan 1641/42 in Hartford.
(2a) Sarah LYMAN, wife of Richard LYMAN, admitted to Roxbury, MA Church as member #20.
(1a,2c) 1640, 22 Apr: Richard LYMAN wrote his will. Gives to wife all my housing and lands during her life, and 1/3 part of my lands to dispose of at her death amongst my children as she pleases; also all my moveable goods, as cattle and household stuff, and other implements. Wife named executrix.
(1b,2c) 1642, 27 Jan: The will and inventory of Richard LYMAN, dec'd, were brought into the Particular Court, Hartford, CT. Proved by oath of John MOODY. "And the noate that was brought in is the noate of the Widdow LYMAN, Decd." The note is dated 24 Jul: "The wydowe LYMANs mynd is that her sonne Richard LYMAN should performe her husbands will, and that her son Robert should live wth him till he be 22 yeares of age." She gives Robert the third part of the house and grounds, and for the performance of her husband's will she gives Richard all her moveable goods, both without the house and within it. She will only dispose of her wearing clothes and "some of her lining." Signed by John MOODIE and Andrew BACON.
Marriage 1 Richard Lyman </cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=ekd32&id=I103> b: 30 Oct 1580 in High Ongar, Essex, Eng
Note: Alice Gedge said married about 1612, the Latter Day Saints Family search site says married 1602.
Married: 1602 in High Ongar, Essex, Eng

Some online trees show her as Mariette Wetherby, dau of John Wetherb7 b. 1778.
I question whether she is the daughter of John Wetherby. The book John Wetherbee of Marlboro and Stow Massachusetts Volume I by Ethel Wetherbee Mazza shows that she is. However, I can find no documentation. If she is, then her son Stephen Holt married her borther John's daughter, Sarah Jane Wetherbee. I do not think that is likely. She is also not mentioned in the "Wetherby Family Bible", which does mention all of the other children of John born 1778.
Her name appears as Marietta on her gravestone. I have found one deed executed by Thomas Holt and his wife Marietta (Cayuga VolQQ P340 Img 276 dated Dec 1832). | Unknown, Marietta (I6555)

Some online trees show Lemuel Newtons wife as Abigail Ward, dau of William Ward and Jane Cleveland without sources. I can find a birth record of Abigail Ward on 4/17/1720 in Marlborough, dau of William and Jane Ward. I can find Mary Newtons parents as Lemuel Newton and Abigail. I cannot find a marriage record of Lemuel Newton and Abigail Ward. The Newton Genealogy does not show a surname for Abigail. North American Family Histories-Cleveland Genealogy P, 66 shows Abigail Ward b. to WIlliam Ward and Jane Cleveland same date. Does not show marriage for Abigail. Marlborough marriages show Abigail Ward married Abijah Knop 29 Nov 1744.
William Ward/Jane Cleveland had daugher Abigail 1 Apr 1720 per Marlboro vital records. Lemuel married Abigail ___ per Newton Genealogy. No confirmation he married Abigail Ward. | Unknown, Abigail (I6585)
