  JDS Notes- AHSGR Fresno notes erroneously give his father's name as Conrad. He, 59, his then wife Lisbeth, 50, son George, 21, daughter-in-law Marie, 21, grandchildren Heinrich, 2, and Kataryna, infant, stepson Johannes Reitz, 10, stepdaughter Lisbeth Reitz, 4 1/2, and stepson Heinrich Reitz, 10, sailed on the SS Caronia from Liverpool on 22 Dec 1906 and arrived at NY, USA on 30 Dec 1906. His contact in the USA was his daughter Mary --- (Lindegren ?) at 235 D Street in Fresno, CA. Last residences and birthplaces were Stahl am Tarlyk, though his wife and his stepchildren (her children by her first marriage) were actually born in Kukkus. A line appears through the name of George, indicating that either he did not actually board the ship, or that he was denied entry to the USA.
