  information provided by Theresa Hess Jennings - Maria Katharina Herstein married Konrad Bell who was born 1873 in Kukkus, son of George Philip Bell and Anna Katharina Metzker. Per her obituary, they were married on Nov 15, 1894, in Omsk Russia. At the time, it is my understanding that the Bell family was living in a village called Popovka, outside Omsk. They migrated to the US in 1901 and did not have any children at the time, which makes me think that perhaps they were married later than 1894. Maria Katharina's 1944 marriage certificate to her 2nd husband Johann Georg Balzer notes that her parents were "Peter Herstein and Maria Katherine Floch".
