Noah Lankton's Company, Col. John Ashley's Regiment (1st Berkshire County), Entered service Sept 19, 1777. Discharged Oct. 11. 1777 - service 23 days. Was on expedition to Stillwater by order of General John Fellows. "Private in Col. Benjamin Tupper's Regiment. Service from June 5, 1782 - 6 months, 26 days. Receipt dated Springfield, June 15, 1782, for bounty paid said Tillotson, by Seth Clark, chariman of Class No.1, of the town of Medfield to serve in the Continental Army for a term of three years."
