  The author of "Familes of Early Milford, Connecticut" published 1979, Susan Woodruff Abbott states "I am of the opinion that Edward Camp was the same Edward Camp who was baptized 21 September 1617 at Hunsdon, co. Herts, son of Edward. This Edward is not on record in England after the arrival of the New Haven settler of that name. Also he probably was the son of Edward Campe and Grace (Mott) whose marriage was recorded at Hunsdon 21 September 1615."
