  From https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Loockermans-37 Goyvaert the Elder Loockermans was born circa 1545-1550. He moved from the village of Mierde, which is now in Brabant, Netherlands, to Turnhout, which is now in Belgium.[1] In 1570 he was recorded as a cooper in Turnhout.[2] He was married to Anna (Anneke) Jacobsdr van Loenhout as his first wife. She died in 1614. At his death, there were five surviving children from this marriage. He may have married a second time.[3] He was the namesake of his grandson, Govert Loockermans.
