Mom says this can not be right. They have her in the 3rd grade. She said they moved to Turner in 1932 and they made her go back a grade. She said the 2 Farver girls (cousins) mentioned in the 3rd grade were a lot older than her. Maybe she does not remember?? I will show her the article tomorrow. I only talked to her on the phone about this. You will see Uncle Norm is 1st grade behind mom and he is older than mom. But mom said that might be correct, he did poor in school. Margaret is in 4th grade and Billie in 7th grade. The newspaper clipping showing mom in 3rd grade she says is wrong.  She said in Bay City you started school at a different age so that is why she was older than everyone else in her class.   When she moved to Turner they made her start over.  She said her class included Alice Dewald and Alice Tarnosky which are listed in first grade on the rooster.  So sounds like her name was in error on the third grade.
