3951 This name shows on the family list in 1886 as son of Johannes, however does not show on any earlier census records. Born in same year as Gottfried??
Family List also shows that family moved to Semenov in 1895.
Becker, Heinrich Andreas (I12923)

3952 This person appears on the 1834 census as Katharina Elisabeth, however we believe that this is the same person as Christina Elisabeth. Her sister's were both named Katharina, which may have contributed to this error. Also the name Louisa (a name in the colonies, but not real common) from her sister continued in Christina's family. It should be noted that the only connection to Heinrich Andreas as her father is from the 1834 census. Thus, if we are incorrect in her name, we are also incorrect in her father. Dittenber, Christina Elisabeth (I3716)

3953 This person appears on the 1850 census as Henrich Andreas, but the 1857 census lists him as 3 in 1850 with a name of Gottfried Becker. I assume one is a entry error or a translating error. Becker, Gottfried (I4767)

3954 This person appears on two different census records with two different birth years. We feel that the 1851 date is correct. Correct date may be 31 May 1851. Herstein, Johann Jakob (I5388)

3955 This person is a free foreigner, not a colonist Thaler, Konrad Friedrich (I3088)

3956 This person is a grandson of Konrad Wick b. 1780 per the 1850 and1857 Kukkus Census Wick, Georg (I5459)

3957 This person is listed as a step-son to Konrad Schengel (b.1753) Name appears in 1834 census spelled two different ways. Ohlberg, Georg Peter (I3291)

3958 This person is listed in the 1850 and 1857 census as a niece of Johannes Isheim. The illegitimate child of his sister Susanna Magdalena. Isheim, Christina Margaretha (I8896)

3959 This person is mostly likely oen of the two daughters of Johannes Berger, Anna Katharina born 1759 or Anna Maria born 1761, but which one? Berger, Katharina (I2015)

3960 This person is probably the daughter of Johann Philipp Heinrich 1809 and Anna Barbara Weigandt who is listed on Pleve's Kukkus Heinrich surname chart as being born in 1845. Some on-line trees show this relationship. Heinrich, Katharina (I1452)

3961 This person should be on the 1850 census, but is not. Reifschneider, Maria Elisabeth (I4971)

3962 This person who appears on the Krumm chart married to Johannes Krumm has to be the same person who appears on the Johannes chart without a spouse's name. The difference in marriage dates can be explained by Dr. Pleve incorrectly assuming on the Krumm chart that the marriage was 1891 as the first child was born 1892. Johannes, Katharina Margaretha (I1362)

3963 This personis probably the Anna Margaretha Feltz b1754 from Paulskaya who married Konrad Kratz in Basel. (Bs09-Mai) Felsing, Anna Margaretha (I2902)

3964 This relates to the couple:

Johann Philipp WEIGANDT - I2478
and his wife Katharina Margaretha MARTIN

The following bio is for a guy born in Bangert that married a daughter of this couple. It spells her surname "Weyand," but it was actually Weigandt.

Note that it says the mother (i.e., MARTIN) died when Katharina was 5, i.e., about 1865, and the father died when Katharina was 17, i.e., about 1877.

If the mother died in about 1865 it would call into question the kid you show born in 1872 in this family. Either he's not part of this family, or he's by a different mother, or the bio is wrong. Assuming the reference you note is reliable, I would be inclined to think he was by a different mother, i.e., second wife.

It also says she was the third oldest of six children. My guess would be that six refers to those that survived infancy.

Biography taken from page 2569 of History of Fresno County California With Biographical Sketches of The Leading Men and Women of the County Who have been Identified with its Growth and Development from the Early Days to the Present, History by Paul E.Vandor, Illustrated, Complete in Two Volumes, Historic Record Company, Los Angeles, California, 1919: JOHN PHILLIP HELMUTH - An example of what can be done by persevering industry and the
determination to succeed is shown in the life story of John Phillip Helmuth, an enterprising rancher of the Biola district. He was a native of
Russia, born in Ososki, Samara, July 28, 1860, a son of Jacob and Kathrina Elizabeth Gammel Helmuth, making her home with her son John Phillip. The third oldest in a family of six children, Mr. Helmuth was educated in the public schools of his native place and worked on his father's farm. After the latter's death, he ran the home place for his mother, and in 1881 he was married to Kathrina Weyand, also born in Samara, and a daughter of Phillip and Kathrina (Martin) Weyand; the mother died when Mrs. Helmuth was
a child of five years, and her father died when she was seventeen. After his marriage John Phillip followed farming in the old country until 1901, when they came to California and settled in Fresno, and for nine years he did ranch work in Fresno and vicinity. He then went to Hamilton, Glenn County, and was employed in the beet-sugar factory there. He returned to Fresno, and in 1909 bought a forty-acre ranch on Shields Avenue, in the Empire district, making all the improvements on the land, which with the
exception of five acres in orchards, is set out to Thompson seedless vineyards. In 1916 he bought forty acres at Biola, and this he also improved to Thompson vineyards; built a residence, and operated the
property to splendid advantage, irrigating both from ditches and from a pumping-plant he installed. Ten children came to Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth: Katie, Mrs. Solwasser of Vinland; Maggie, Mrs. Will of Biola; Jack, a vineyardist of Biola; Henry, in viticulture in Vinland; George, vineyardist of Vinland, Phillip, served with the United States Army in France, being in service eighteen months; Christian, who has twenty acres at Biola; and August, Marie, and Peter. The family attended the Congregational Church of Fresno. Mr. Helmuth was a member of the California Associated Raisin Company, and a man of liberal ideas, willing to work for the upbuilding of the community.

3970 Transcribed from the 1886 Kukkus Family List as born in 1888. However his mother was listed as a widow on 1/1/1886. He was drafted in 1889. (19 to 22 seems to be typical draft ages.) His first child was born 1898. I have entered 1870 as birth year. Even if incorrect, it is much closer than the transcription. Rosenthal, Johann Georg (I14150)
