Notes |
- Perhaps a brother to Johann Georg Felsing of Kukkus, b. 1781. Johann Georg's father, Johannes who died by 1791 does not have a known residence from looking at early records.
Speculation: Jacobs father may have emigrated into into Schilling in 1764, when Schilling was founded. No first settler list exists for Schilling. The earliest record of a Felsing is in 1798. No Felsing appears on the 1775 Schilling Census. The various transport lists into the country do not cover the 1764 time frame. For this to work, Johannes would have to have moved to Kukkus, with his children Johann Georg & Jakob by 1775. (As they do not appear on the Schilling 1775 Census. The Kukkus 1775 Census does not exist.) At some point, Johannes died, Johann Georg stayed in Kukkus and Jakob may have moved to Kutter, where he married in 1796 to a girl from Norka. Then by 1798 Jakob and his new wife had moved to Schilling.
Possibly a son of Johann Jacob Felsing of Paulskaya.
