  Comment supplied by Derek Sturges in 2009: Martha Maser, apparent daughter of Peter (1893) and Helen Greifenstein, was really Peter’s step-daughter. This is made clear in the 1930 Census, where her name is given as Martha Zaske, step-daughter. I don’t know if she was subsequently adopted by Pete, but Marlene tells me that, later in her life, Martha did use Maser name; (also, that she had an illegitimate child, Gerald Maser.)
