I'm looking for anyone who might have information on th Klemm family, What I do know is my grandparents arrived at Ellis Island on the United American Lines on a ship called the Hansa which departed from Hamberg on 9 nov.1922. They
went to Saginaw, MI to live with my grandfathers sister and her family (Adam & Anna Klemm Clauss). Christian died in 1929 and my grandmother (Amolia Felsing-Klemm remarried a
Peter Dittenber in 1943 and lived in AuGres, MI until they
died. What I would really like to know is did any of my grandparents siblings ever come to the US. The information I have is as follows: Grandfather Christians parents
were George Klemm and Barbara Kries, they had 5 other children the names I have are George Jr, Henry,John, Anna
and a daughter that I know only as Mrs Redd Kukkus.
Grandmother Amolia Felsing Klemm-Dittenber's parent were
John or Phillip Felsing and Louise Kross, they had 4 other
children the names I have are John Phillip, Phillip,
Catherine Margaret, and Elizabeth. My Aunt Molly wrote in a letter that her mother said she had cousins in CA and
I have a copy of a letter from a from a Phillip Weigundt
living in Fresno CA dated 1924 but it's in German and I can't translate it. If anyone has any ideas on where to look, please let me know. Thanks Deb
